Your privacy choices
Last updated: 19 May 2026
This page summarises the choices you have under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and equivalent rights in other US state privacy laws. Customers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom should see §5 of our Privacy Policy for the broader set of GDPR / UK GDPR rights.
We do not sell or share your personal information
nlit does not sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising — the two activities CCPA/CPRA opt-outs target. We have no advertising business and no data partnerships that would route your information to other companies for their own marketing.
Because we have nothing to sell or share, an opt-out request — whether sent via this page, by email, or by the Global Privacy Control browser signal — has no effect to apply: there is no flow to stop. We still record receipt of such requests so we can confirm the position if asked.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Global Privacy Control is a browser-level setting that signals an opt-out from sale and sharing on every request you send. When your browser includes the Sec-GPC: 1 header, our servers treat it as a valid CCPA/CPRA opt-out — but, as explained above, there is no sale or share to stop, so the practical effect is the same as without the signal.
Your other CCPA/CPRA rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how we use it (see Privacy Policy §1–§3).
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information we hold (you can self-serve full account deletion from Settings).
- Limit use of any “sensitive personal information”. nlit only collects email, name, and billing address — none of which qualify as sensitive PI under CPRA — so this right has no practical effect for us today.
- Non-discrimination: exercising any right above will not change your access to the service, your pricing, or the quality of support you receive.
To exercise these rights, email support@nlit.app from the address on your account. We will verify the request and respond within 45 days, as required by CCPA §1798.130. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written authorisation; we may ask the agent to verify both their own identity and yours before fulfilling the request.
